    الى المختصين فى مجال التشخيص:عندى مشكله
    تظهر على شاشة السياره سكودا كلمة service واريد ان امسحها واريد ان اصفر العداد فكيف افعل ذلك علما بان الجهاز المتوفر هو launch x431

    tell me the model year of the scoda car. normally you have to adapt the channel 10 and 11 amd 12. in some cars from volkswagen you can adpt the kilometer in the instrument desplay. Give me the data of the car: engine code, gear code . I have a special tool for volkswahen groupe with all the manuals to make repair and trouble shooting . i can send you one . if you like contact me at the e-mail : [email protected].     i cant put the files as i want coz i still have no permition but this is an example of a very similar tool that is used for volkswagengroupe) ( skoda/seat/Audi/volkswagen)

    Auto diagnostics of control unit:
    After entering an adress word (e.g. „01“) the following text will appear on the screen:
    Press
    Q and the tester establishes communication with the tester. The following test
    will appear on the screen:
    The controller then identifies itself by displaying its controller ID:

    (maybe several times depending on the controller) to select several

    The diagnostics protocol, which is used for the communication with the current
    controller, appears on the screen in the right bottom corner (in this case "CanTp
    2000"). Depending on the controller there could also appear "K-Ltg 2000" or "K-Ltg
    1281".

    Function 02 – Scan fault memory:
    Important note: The text describing the cause of the fault (i.e. the location of the
    fault) on the and the types of the fault in the bottom line of the display only have a
    total of 40 characters. Since 40 digits are sometimes insufficient,, words are
    abbreviated or shortened. If you want to view the whole text, please consult the
    corresponding repair guides.
    If function ,,Function 02 – Scan fault memory“ is selected, the screen first shows the
    total number of faults deteted, for example:

    to consult each fault number and its corresponding text. The number 1
    appears on the top left of the first page on the screen, indicating it is the first of 3, i.e.
    the first position of the faults memory of this system. This allows you to see which
    position in the faults memory is being displayed at each moment. In the following
    example, the position is 1 of 3:

    Each fault has two screen pages. In this example the first page shows the fault
    number and below it the location of the fault, i.e. the cause of the fault „G28“ is the
    reference of the component that you will find in the garage documentation.

    example:
    This indicates the type of the fault corresponding to the specific cause of the fault ,
    „no signal„ in this example.
    You can find an indication of the actuality of a fault in the line above (or on the last
    screen of the page of a fault) e.g.:
    • „static" resp. "/ST" referring to an existing fault or
    • „sporadic" resp. "/SP" referring to faults that appear temporarily (short duration
    faults).

    Press
    to access the next fault entry. Again, the first page of this fault entry is
    displayed, followed by the second page. After all faults have been displayed, press

    again to return to the function selection screen. You can also use C to get
    back to the menu at any time.
    Additionally, you can use
    + and to skip from one fault to another. The first page of a
    fault (location of a fault) will always be displayed. Press button
    to view the second
    page indicating the type of the fault.
    In control units, which communicate with KeyWordProtocol 2000, the environmental
    conditions might be shown after the actuality of the fault was indicated, if „Function
    20 – FSP environmental conditions“ is activated (see page 36).
    These conditions consist of up to 7 measured values and the following default
    values.
    • Realization of test conditions
    • Activation of error lamp
    • error frequency
    • Unlearning counter
    • Priority
    • mileage
    • Time of first appearance

    Function 05 – Erase fault memory:
    Once the repair has been completed, the faults memory must be cleared using this
    function. Before the tester issues the order to erase the memory, first check whether
    the faults memory has been consulted and read out.
    Before the fault memory can be erased, it has to be read out with „Function 02 –
    Scan fault memory“.
    After erasing the following will appear on the screen:
    Afterwards, the fault memory will be scanned again and remaining errors will be
    shown. In this case you have to remedy the defect before you can erase the fault
    memory.

    Hi omar, you need the engine code and gear because there are different ways to adapt the service kilometer depending on the model year. i attached a document that deals with the volkswagen groupe and skoda and seat . if you work alot with volkswagen + Audi cars this tool is very helpful. The supplier of this tool is in germany , see the company name in the shared document
