VisualARQ is an application designed for the architectural sector.
It uses the accessible and intuitive Rhino interface, providing the tools which make the architectural design process and its documentation much easier to handle.
> Using VisualARQ, you can work in two dimensions and at the same time view the project 3D model (and vice versa).
You can also move smoothly from one viewport/view to another, without having to exit the active command.
> It generates documents which combine the drawing plans, three dimensional modeling as well as quantifies data (using documentation tables).
All this information –2D plans, 3D model and tables- is linked and updates after each modification, saving vast amounts of time and significantly minimizing the margin of error.
> Parametric architectural objects
VisualARQ’s architectural objects are parametric; this means that you can define, vary and edit their pre-set values at any time. Automatic recalculation adjusts them to these changes.
This makes the work process more efficient and offers endless possibilities...
> In addition to being parametric, VisualARQ architectonic objects are also “intelligent”, as they behave like the real components they represent, thereby facilitating creating and editing processes:
The door and window elements are associated with the walls they belong to; when any of these elements are moved, modified or removed, the wall is automatically updated adapting to the change.
Railings and stairs work in the same way.
VisualARQ can also automatically resolve buttresses and wall intersections.
> Shape flexibility in wall outline:
As in Rhino elements, VisualARQ walls are based on NURBS curves.
This technology allows to draw walls from straight lines, arcs, or following free-form curves.
> In order to make it easier to create and edit your architectural objects, VisualARQ offers user friendly wizards.
These wizards include all editable parameters and a preview window to show all modifications in real time as they are made on the selected object.
> VisualARQ has a command tool to automatically create sections and elevations on the project, as well as specific door and window elevations.
As they are linked into the drawing, they are all updated after any changes.
The door and window elevations also appear dimensioned and referenced using symbols on the plan drawing and its respective table.
> Automatic area calculation option. Like other VisualARQ elements, Spaces are also linked, and they automatically adjust to changes made on their defining walls.
> Not only are VisualARQ documentation tables linked to the drawing data, but they are also easy to edit.
> VisualARQ has a library of architectural objects and basic profiles.
> VisualARQ also offers optional manual or automatic dimensioning commands.
