Fiqh Of Muslim Minorities: *******ious Issues & Recommended Solutions

    Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 220 | Size: 13 MB
Fiqh of Muslim Minorities sheds light on the principles of our feasible, facile and tolerant Shrai'ah. These principles are not spiritless clichés that are applied to every mature Muslim regardless of his conditions or circumstances. Contrarily, they tackle every case individually providing a suitable solution for each according to the surrounding circumstances. Fiqh of Muslim Minorities discusses controversial issues, be they social, economic and familial that face Muslim communities living in non-Muslim polity. Is it permissible to bring religions close together? Can a Muslim be buried in a Christian cemetery? Will a female convert be obliged to separate from her non-Muslim husband? Can a Muslim inherit from his non-Muslim relative? These are just examples of what this book attempts to answer

    Answers to “Born-Again” Preachers

Yusuf Estes | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 18 | Size: 1 MB
The simple beauty of understanding where people are coming from in their thinking and having proper knowledge of Islam and the methodology of explaining Islam (menhaj ad dawah), is demonstrated here to show how close some of the statements against Islam are to actually in fact verifying the proof that Islam is the only correct religion with Allah. These questions are from a man that Allah has been testing with belief in Christianity & Islam. The answers are provided from Today Islam's Sheik Yusuf Estes. As we will see, many times the very objections and complaints that others have about Islam, can actually be used to support the correct teachings of Islam. The problem comes from the fact that all too often we do not know enough about what the people are meaning and not enough about our own religion. Notice the art of agreeing at the correct points and then bringing about a clear understanding in the other points without alienating the other person.

Perfect Muslim Character In The Modern World

    Mustafa At-Tahan | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 304 | Size: 9 MB
Today, Islam is frequently misunderstood because of the character of the Muslims who misrepresent Islam. This partially due to their ignorance and being distracted by this worldly life. At the same time, many Muslims are struggling to develop their characters and personalities in the mould of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his early Companions. This has become increasingly difficult with many trials faced in their daily lives. However, Islam is comprehensive and as we have seen, the perfect Muslim character has been able to transcend throughout time and various situations. This is because the formula laid for us by Allah (swt) and exemplified by His Prophet (pbuh) is able to be implemented in all situations.

Islam The True Message Of Moses, Jesus And Muhammad " pbut

    Nabil Abdel-Salam Haroun | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 65 | Size: 4 MB
The Human mind is the device through which man can explore the surrounding world, and transform whatever his senses (hearing, sight, touch and smell) perceive into ideas and meanings. These ideas and meanings then undergo sophisticated analytical processes that enable man to hold such ideas and meanings as indisputable beliefs. The most important of these beliefs is that concerned with the vast surrounding cosmos: its creation, essence, beginning and destination, i.e. such matters that cannot be perceived by man's limited faculties.

    Towards Understanding Islam

    Sayyid Abul A'la Mawdudi | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 102 | Size: 1 MB
Every religion of the world has been named either after its founder or after the community or nation in which it was born. For instance, Christianity takes its name from its prophet Jesus Christ; Buddhism from its founder, Gautama Buddha; Zoroastrianism from its founder Zoroaster-, and Judaism, the religion of the Jews, from the name of the tribe Judah (of the country of Judea) where it originated. The same is true of all other religions except Islam, which enjoys the unique distinction of having no such association with any particular person or people or country. Nor is it the product of any human mind. It is a universal religion and its objective is to create and cultivate in man the quality and attitude of Islam.

Islam, in fact, is an attributive title. Anyone who possesses this attribute, whatever race,
community, country or group he belongs to, is a Muslim. According to the Qur’an (the Holy
Book of the Muslims), among every people and in all ages there have been good and righteous
people who possessed this attribute - and all of them were and are Muslims.
Islam - What Does it Mean?
Islam is an Arabic word and connotes submission, surrender and obedience. As a religion,
Islam stands for complete submission and obedience to Allah (SWT).
Everyone can see that we live in an orderly universe, where everything is assigned a place in a
grand scheme. The moon, the stars and all the heavenly bodies are knit together in a
magnificent system. They follow unalterable laws and make not even the slightest deviation from
their ordained courses. Similarly, everything in the world, from the minute whirling electron to
the mighty nebulae, invariably follows its own laws. Matter, energy and life - all obey their laws
and grow and change and live and die in accordance with those laws. Even in the human world
the laws of nature are paramount. Man’s birth, growth and life are all regulated by a set of
biological laws. He derives sustenance from nature in accordance with an unalterable law. All
the organs of his body, from the smallest tissues to the heart and the brain, are governed
by the laws prescribed for them. In short, ours is a law-governed universe and everything in it is
following the course that has been ordained for it.

    Salah Ad-din Al-Ayyubi

Abudllah Nasih Ulwan | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 212 | Size: 13 MB

This book takes a detailed look at the life of one of the great figures in islamic history. A commanding leader in jihad and of men. Salah ad-Din was one of those who guided people to the right path. One may ask why the author preferred Salah ad-Din's biography over other figures. The answer is that Salah ad-Din's life is connected with the manifest victory and liberation of Jerusalem from Crusaders. Readers will find in book chapters how such victory was achieved by a Kurdish man, not an Arab; how he unified the Muslim ummah under his guiding leadership; how he convinced the people to follow the Islamic Shariah; how he fought in the name of Islam and to make Allah's word supreme; and how he treated the enemies with good manners and noble morals. Readers will also find the noblest qualities by which he was distinguished and the most important reforms he achieved. In brief, the reader will obtin a general outline of the life of Salah ad-Din.

    Being Like The Teacher

    Ramazan M. Zuberi | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 12 | Size: 1 MB
Gathering from the title, one might be wondering what teacher I’m referring to. The title of this article comes from Luke 6:40. Jesus (PBUH) explicitly said that in order for anyone to be like him, they would have to be “perfect” as he was. Insha’Allah (SWT), we will examine the word “perfect” in this verse more in depth. First, we must understand that all prophets lived according to a certain way of life which was total submission to God’s Will. This means that whatever Laws, Rules, Regulations, etc., God sent to them, they abided by in 100% totality. Their message was very clear and in harmony with one another. This is also confirmed in the Qur’an.

    The Goodly Word

Ibn Taymiyyah | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 371 | Size: 6 MB
The well-known work al-Kalim at-Tayyib by Ibn Taymiyyah has been widely recognized as one of the best medium-sized books giving direct access to invocations (dua) and supplications (dhikr) to be used in worship on particular occasions. Sheikh al-Islam Ahmad Abd Al-Halim ibn Taymiyyah was on of the outstanding scholars of the seventh century A.H. He was well known for his in compromising adherence to the sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) and for combating objectionable innovations. He died in Damascus in A.H 728. The book is here presented in a shortened version, thus making it a useful manual of prayer. The translation has been made by two scholars whose previous books have gained general approval for their accuracy and readability. The translation is provided with notes and appropriate explanations. The book includes an introduction dealing with dua and dhikr in a Muslim's prayers and circumstances of daily life; it also gives the sources of such dua and dhikr that are authentic and reviews similar collections that have been made. In addition it deals with question of the permissibility or otherwise of employing translations of dua and dhikr. A companion to the translators' previous publications in the field of Hadith, the present book has been printed in similar format with the original Arabic text given for ease of reference.

    Corruption Of The Torah

    Misheal A. Al-Kadhi | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 16 | Size: 1 MB
A while ago, a Muslim brother forwarded a message he found on a Jewish net which attempted to prove the corruption of the Qur'an. The post attempted to show that Muslims are command in the Qur'an to kill all non-Muslims and FORCE them into Islam. A knowledgeable scholar of Islam, one who knows the context within which each verse was revealed would be able to refute these claims quite simply, however, I have decided that it is necessary to provide Muslims with the weapons they need to counter such attacks in order to not allow them to force us to always be on the defensive. But rather, be able to effectively launch an effective devastating OFFENSIVE strike at them as well when they try such games.

It is a grand host to guests from the four corners of the world. It stood resolute against those who sought to destroy it. It warmly received those who honored it, and it salutes those who visit it today. Physically, it is the most central point of the earth; spiritually, it represents the Muslims as a united body, with the Almighty Foremost in our minds. It bears testimony to the Prophets' call to absolute monotheism, and binds nations and tribes invincibly; its resilience has stood the test of time. This is the Ka'bah - Allah's Sacred House.
