Be True To Allah (swt) - Sidq Ma'Allah

Shaykh Abdullah Azzam | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 20 | Size: 1 MB
Be True To Allah (swt) - (Sidq Ma'Allah): The biggest problem facing Islām today is the lack of the sincere and truthful amongst those who are working for Allāh, except for those few hidden, pious, and pure people who were made for leading nations, and were made for navigating the ship...

Time Magazine described Shaykh Abdullah Azzam as the man who wasthe ' reviver of Jihad in the 20th Century'. Abdullah Yusuf Azzam was born in the village of Ass-ba'ah Al-Hartiyeh, province of Jineen in the occupied sacred land of Palestine in 1941 CE. He was brought up in a humble house where he was taught Islam, and was fed with the love of Allah, His Messenger (saw), those striving in the Way of Allah, the righteous people and the desire for the Hereafter. Sheikh Abdullah Azzam was one of the first Arabs to join the Afghan Jihad against the communist USSRIn 1979, when he learned about the Afghan Jihad, he left his teaching position at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and went to Islamabad, Pakistan, in order to be able to participate in the Jihad. He was a fine example of Islamic manners, in his piety, his devotion to Allah and his modesty in all things. He would never adulate in his relations with others. Shaykh Azzam always listened to the youth, he was dignified and did not allow fear to have access to his brave heart. He practised continual fasting especially the alternate daily fasting routine of Prophet Dawud (as). He strongly counselled others to practice fasting on Mondays and Thursdays. The Shaykh was a man of uprightness, honesty and virtue, and was never heard to slander others or to talk unpleaasently about an individual Muslim. On 24 November 1989. The enemies of Allah planted three bombs on a road so narrow only a single car could travel on it. It was the road Shaykh Abdullah Azzam would use to drive to the Friday Prayer. That Friday, the Shaykh together with two of his own sons, Ibrahim and Muhammad, and with one of the sons of the late Shaykh Tameem Adnani drove along the road. The car stopped at the position of the first bomb, and the Sheikh alighted to walk the remainder of the way. The enemies, lying in wait, then exploded the bomb. A loud explosion and a great thundering were heard all over the city. People emerged from the mosque, and beheld a terrible scene. Only a small fragment of the car remained. The young son Ibrahim flew 100 metres into the air; the other two youths were thrown a similar distance away, and their remains were scattered among the trees and power lines. As for Shaykh Abdullah Azzam himself, his body was found resting against a wall, totally intact and not at all disfigured, except that some blood was seen issuing from his mouth. Sheikh Abdullah Azzam himself once said, " Indeed Islamic history is not written except with the blood of the Shuhadaa', except with the stories of the Shuhadaa' and except with the examples of the Shuhadaa'. " May Allah (swt) accept him amongst them.

Alliance And Disavowal In Surah Mumthahinah

Wasim Fathullah | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 51 | Size: 1 MB
The issue of alliance and disavowal (wala’ and bara’) is probably the most important one of our times when it comes to faith, considering all of its branches, rulings, and implications. And since the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah are our helpers and sources of guidance, it is incumbent upon us to return to them in order to understand such a great concept. I reflected over this great chapter, and I found that it contained the meaning, methodology, and style that fulfill the need of every Muslim today in fully understanding this mighty principle of faith. So, depending on Allah, and I decided to reflect over and analyze some of its verses to try and extract the major and minor details regarding the issue of wala’ and bara’ therein, especially since it is from the Qur’an that was revealed in Madinah, which is mainly concerned with application of the concepts of the Qur’an revealed in Makkah. The hardest thing I came across in the course of this short journey was moving from one verse to the next, since each verse in this chapter takes the one who reads them – let alone reflects on them – and imprisons him such that he cannot break free. This begins with the divine call at its start, on to the story of the father of the Prophets (may peace be upon him and our Prophet), stopping at its amazing, miraculous, and nurturing methodology of clarifying the most important aspects of social and global interaction, and then returning to the task of structuring the Islamic society in a unique style that has never been witnessed in history.'

Collection Of Articles - Refuting Shia

Collection Of Articles (Refuting Shia) | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 179 | Size: 2 MB
Attributing kufr to a person, shouting, and blustering are the weapon of the weak. This page is not dedicated to the weaks but for facts and evidences that deserve a pause from you to contemplate through the page and know its goals. We have facts that may be published for the first time, and we have pictures, documents, audios and videos that prove our point. This page is for Sunnis who want to learn about Shi'ism and for those intelligent, open-minded Shia who are seeking the truth away from prejudice. We are asking Muslims to unite and we are seeking unity. But unity should be based on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His messenger, NOT at the expense of Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His messenger. Therefore, we adopted this Dialogue as a method to solve the discord and a course to elucidate the truth

    Natural Blood Of Women

Muhammad ibn saalih al Uthaymeen | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 58 | Size: 1 MB
This book deals with fiqh issues specific to women regarding menstruation, post partum (Nifaas), and abnormal bleeding (Istihadah).Shaykh Uthaymeen brings proofs from the Quran and Sunnah. Widely Referenced book for Women.

    Introduction
All praise is due to Allah, we praise Him, seek His help and forgiveness. We
return to Him alone in repentance, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evil of
ourselves and from our wrong deeds. Whosoever Allah guides there is none who
can misguide, and whosoever Allah misguides there is none who can guide. I bear
witness that there is no god worthy of being worshipped except Allah Who is free
from any partners or associates. I bear witness that Muhammad is the true slave
and messenger of Allah (SW1), may the Salah2 of Allah be upon him.
It is common that there are three types of menses among women:
    1) Menstrual Period,
2)Istihadah: bleeding from the womb between women periods, and
    3) Nifass (post-delivery).
The explanations of these matters in accordance with the evidences from Qur'an
and Sunnah is very important and beneficial, because:
    a) the Qur'an and Sunnah represent the only sources for all of the Decrees of
    Allah.
    b) in referring to these sources one achieves a state of peace, comfort and
relaxation as well as relief for having the requirements of worship (in this case
    purification from menses) made known.
    c) any other reference lacks the quality of perfection of the proofs of the Qur'an
    and Sunnah.

1 SW: Subhanahu Wa Ta'aala, Most Glorified and Most High is He.
2 The Salah of Allah upon His Prophet, Muhammad, is His mentioning of the Prophet's name and his
praise before the angels who are close to (but below) Allaah, the most High. The angels as well as all
believers are asked to make Salah on the Prophet. Allah (SW) says:
"Allah sends His Salah (Graces, Honors, Blessings, Mercy, etc.) on the Prophet (Muhammad-
SAAW) and also His angels too (ask Allah to bless and forgive him). O you who believe! Send your
Salah on (ask Allah to bless) him (Muhammad-SAAW), and (you should) greet (salute) him with
    the Islamic way of greeting (salutation i.e., As-Salamu ‘Alaikum)."(Qur'an 33: 56)

Next in reference, are the verified sayings of the scholars amongst the Sahabah
(companions of the Prophet (SAAW3)) as long as they are not in conflict with
any thing in the Qur'an or Sunnah. In case there is a contradictory saying by
another Sahabi, then verification for the most substantiated proofs closest to
evidences from Qur'an and Sunnah is sought. This is in confirmation to the saying
    of Allah (SW):
"If you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His
Messenger (SAAW), if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is
best, and more suitable for final determination."(Qur'an 4: 59)
With the above in mind, a summarized letter explaining the Islamic Laws
    regarding menses is presented here.
SAAW: Salla Allahu ‘Aleihi Wa Sallam: may Allah Praise him and grant him peace.

The Etiquettes Of Marriage & Wedding

Shaykh Naseeruddin Albanii | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 33 | Size: 1 MB
There are in Islam, certain etiquettes upon anyone who marries and wishes to consummate his marriage with his wife. Most Muslims today, even those who exert themselves in Islamic worship, have either neglected or become totally ignorant of these Islamic etiquettes. Therefore, I decided to write this beneficial treatise clearly explaining these issues on the occasion of marriage of someone dear to me. I hope that it will be an aid to him and to other believing brothers in carrying out what the Chief of the Messengers has ordained on the authority of the Lord of the Worlds. I have followed that by pointing out certain issues important to every one who marries, and with which many wives in particular have been tested.

Winning The Heart Of Your Husband

    Ibraahim ibn Saaleh al-Mahmoud | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 29 | Size: 1 MB

I have prepared this paper with the belief that most marital problems are caused by women. So I ask Allah (SWT) to help, with this paper both men and women. It is worth mentioning that a wise and sincere woman knows how to win her husband's love with her noble character and manner, her obedience, amiable behaviour and beauty. However, some husbands do treat their wives as if they were slaves of an oppressive tyrant. These husbands use different methods in abusing, torturing and even beating their wives. The Prophet (PBUH) said: "The best of you is one who is best with one's household (in treatment) and I am the best of you with my household."

Islam - Elevation Of Women's Status

    Shaikh Ali Al-Timimi | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 10 | Size: 1 MB
The topic that I was asked to discuss here at McGill University is the elevation of the status of women in Islam. Many, upon hearing the title of this lecture, might assume it to be an oxymoron because the prevalent idea - at least in the West - is that Islam does not elevate the status of women, but that Islam oppresses and suppresses women. So people might find the title in itself to be shocking or a curiosity at least. In discussing this topic - since it appears to me that this is a mixed audience of Muslims and non-Muslims - I'd like to make my remarks and comments brief. I will take no more than thirty to forty five minutes, and then allow you an opportunity to ask your questions. Perhaps the question and answer session might be more fruitful in addressing specific accusations, understandings or misunderstandings regarding the status of women in Islam.

The Rights & Duties Of Women In Islam

Abdul Ghaffar Hasan | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 29 | Size: 5 MB
The subject of the rights and duties of women in Islam has often been clouded by controversy, personal opinions and sheer ignorance. Although many scholars have dealt with this subject, there has remained a need to discuss wider aspects of the issue than are often tackled. Maulana Abdul Ghaffar Hasan, a scholar of Hadith and member of the Islamic Ideological Council in Pakistan, originally presented this topic to the Council as a short Urdu paper for discussion. Considering it to be a concise yet useful contribution to the field, I rendered it into English. I am very grateful to my daughter Khola Hasan who not only edited the English version but also contributed to it with her thoughts, thus adding to its substance beautifully.

I hope that this booklet will help to remove some of the misunderstandings, prejudiced opinions and falsehoods, which circulate about the rights, and duties of women in Islam.
The issue of Women in Islam has been the subject of all kinds of controversies, misunderstandings and especially misinformation. This work will discuss and explain this subject according to the precise teachings of the Qur’aan and the Sunnah (sayings, acts, i.e., the traditions) of Allah’s Messenger.
To begin with, the most important aspect of the entire issue is the spiritual aspect. The Muslim accepts that the main purpose behind the creation of jinn and mankind was that they should worship Allah, struggle against the forces of Satan and live their life according to Allah's Commandments in order to achieve eternal bliss in Paradise.
