    Abu Muhammad Aasim al-Maqdisi | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 267 | Size: 2 MB
We present to the English reader, Millat Ibrāhīm, by the noble Shaykh, Abu Muhammad Al-Maqdisī, may Allāh preserve him. This particular treatise has been an influential and significant book with many of the contemporary Islāmic groups intent upon forming an Islāmic state. Herein, the author draws several parallels between the form of idolatry in the time of the Messenger of Allāh (PBUH) and that which the apostate regimes have instituted from fabricated laws and methodologies of falsehood in the lands of the Muslims, which are the main obstacles to the formation of such a state.

shaykh Abu Muhammad al-Maqdisi. born 1378 A.H. (1959 A.D.) in the province of Nablus, Palestine,At a young age his family emigrated to Kuwait. He later studied at the University of Mosul in Iraq. He began to travel around Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in order to visit the numerous religious students and sheikhs. He than began to study the writings of Sheikh ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Imam Ibnul Qayyim. While in Medinah he read the writings of Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al Wahhab and was strongly influenced by them. Maqdisi travelled to Pakistan and Afghanistan and met many of the mujahid groups there at the time. In 1992 he returned to Jordan. He began to denounce the Jordanian government and the man-made laws that were being implemented there. His teachings gained many adherents and this earned him the attention of the government, and he was arrested and imprisoned. During the years 1995-1999. He was later released and stayed in Jordan, where he was later rearrested on terrorism charges for conspiring to attack American targets in Jordan. He was released again in July 2005, but arrested again after he gave an interview to al Jazeera. He was released again in 2008...

Benefits From The Story Of Prophet Yusuf PT 1/2

    Muhammad Saleh al-Munajjid | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 26 | Size: 2 MB

This book is an adaption of a friday khutbah given by Shaykh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid which explains the fruits that can be taken from the life of prophet Yoosuf (may Allah be pleased with him). This chapter Yusuf relates to the story of one of the noble prophets, peace be upon him, and includes great admonitions and numerous benefits for the believers, as well as Islaamic rulings which the scholars of Islaam have extracted from this wonderful story that Allaah revealed to His Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam. The story of Prophet Yusuf, peace be upon him, has a distinct, beautiful style, and neither the Jews nor the Christians have anything like it in their books, especially in such detail.

Portraits From The Life Of The Prophet Muhammad " pbuh

Imaam Ibn Kathir | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 121 | Size: 11 MB
Muhammad (SAW) brought to posterity, a religion of pure monotheism; he created a well-disciplined State out of the existent chaos and gave peace in place of the war of everybody against everybody else; he established a harmonious equilibrium between the spiritual and the Secular, between the mosque and the citadel; he left a new system of law, which dispensed impartial justice, in which even the head of the State was as much a subject to it as any commoner, and in which religious tolerance was so great that non-Muslim inhabitants of the Muslim state equally enjoyed complete juridical, judicial and cultural autonomy.

The Prophet Muhammad set a noble example and fully practiced all that he taught to others.

This Small Book brings to the Pages Portraits from the Life of Muhammad (May Peace and Blessings be upon Him).

    The Five Chapters are:
    * The Early Days
    * Muhammad Chosen Prophet
    * The Prophet Establishes the Muslim State

Islam Versus Ahl Al Kitab Past And Present

Maryam Jameelah | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 08 | Size: 1 MB

Really! Amazing! Incredible! What? - are exclamations that come out often as one feels the impact of this great exposure and indictment of Zionism and the Christian church. The author conveys much of her points by the very words of the people she talks about. To avoid quoting out of context, she uses many lengthy extracts. The result is a very fair, balanced and objective presentation. None can deny that this is the greatest assault on Judaism and Christianity both in theory and practice coming from a Muslim pen for a very long time. How has she set about it? Firstly, it must be mentioned that the author's history places her at a position of advantage to perform such a task. She grew up in a Jewish family, a member of the Jewish minority in Christian America and then embraced Islam. Being a near insatiable bibliophile as well entitles her to a claim of inside knowledge of the three faiths. All these assets are brought into good use here. The lengthy chapter on Judaism is a well-documented outline of Jewish beliefs, culture, complexes, deviations and history. The author provides an analysis of the background to the rise of Zionism and how a racist religion, garbed with modern political and military sophistry and bred on the support of Western treachery and collusion, has grown into the menacing monstrosity of Zionism. The second chapter contains the post energetic refutation of Christianity that I leave ever come across. It is a historical, a moral, an academic and indeed, an outright refutation of Christianity. The author answers the usual Christian accusations against Islam with even greater vehemence. In this, one sees how much she detests the apologetic approach of answering back. Rather she throws the whole table on the Christians. She gives a lucid and highly informative analysis of the aims and moods of operation of the Christian missionary. The last chapter rounds off beautifully her arguments against racist Judaism and neo-imperialist, man-made Christianity. She presents Islam as the only authentic religion through which mankind can be united. This book is Maryam Jameelah's best work to date.

The Life Of Prophet Muhammad "pbuh

Abdul Waheed Khan | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 59 | Size: 2 MB
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was born into a pagan society in which every conceivable vice was practiced and very few virtues existed. As he (PBUH) grew up, he (PBUH) watched with disgust the great drama of the evil around him. He (PBUH) witnessed how the human soul was suppressed, how man was oppressing and exploiting the members of society, how the strong enslaved the poor. Through ignorance, error, superstition and outright perversity, man was debauched by evil. Tyranny reigned supreme. Man was drunk with arrogance, religious formalism and luxury. In these times ignorance, Muhammad (PBUH) grew. He (PBUH) walked upright and straight and won from the people of the Makkah the name; "The Trustworthy" who kept his word and never spoke lie. Muhammad (PBUH) was not taught formally by any man, and yet in years to come. He (PBUH) would teach the whole world such as no man has done throughout history.

    Muhammad M.Ghali | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 174 | Size: 5 MB
To approach the stories of kings and potentates, as well as the movements and vicissitudes of tribes, nations, and masses from a proper historical perspective seems to be an unattainable objective. Something is needed more than human intelligence, empirical method, and rigid scientific criteria: and the only possible source for undefiled knowledge is through religious revelations. The History of Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) is an attempt in this regard. It gives a short account of the life of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) based on the Qur'an and authentic and reliable sources in a simple and easy language.

    Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 40 | Size: 1 MB

The phenomenon of weak faith has become very widespread among Muslims, and many people complain about the hardness of their hearts. So often we hear the words, “I feel hardness in my heart,” “I do not find any joy in worship,” “I feel that my faith has hit rock bottom,” “Reading Qur’aan does not move me,” “I fall into sin so easily.” The effects of this affliction can be seen in many people, and this problem is the cause of every disaster and adversity. The issue of people’s hearts is an important and sensitive issue. The heart is called qalb in Arabic because it changes so quickly and frequently (taqallub – alteration, variation, ups and downs). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The heart (qalb) takes its name from its constant changes (taqallub). The likeness of the heart is that of a feather at the root of a tree, being turned over and over by the wind.” (Reported by Ahmad, 4/408; Saheeh al-Jaami’, 2364). According to another report: “The likeness of the heart is that of a feather in an empty plot of land, being blown over and over by the wind.” (Reported by Ibn Abi ‘Aasim in Kitaab al-Sunnah. No. 227. Its isnaad is saheeh, see Zilaal al-Jannah fi Takhreej al - Sunnah by al-Albaani, 1/102).
Man’s heart changes constantly, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
described: “The heart of the son of Adam changes more quickly than a pan of rapidly
boiling water.” (Ibid., no. 226. Its isnaad is saheeh: Zilaal al -Jannah, 1/102), According to another
report: “It changes more than a pot of rapidly boiling water.” (Reported by Ahmad, 6/4; Saheeh
    al-Jaami’, no. 5147).

Allaah is the One Who turns hearts around and controls them. ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-
‘Aas reported that he heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon
him) say: “The hearts of the children of Adam are as one between the fingers of the Most
Merciful, and He turns them in whatever way He wills.” Then he said: “O Allaah, Controller
of the hearts, direct our hearts to obey You.” (Reported by Muslim, no. 2654).
    Allaah (SWT) tells us that:

“… Allaah comes in between a person and his heart (i.e., He prevents an evil
person from deciding anything)…” [al-Anfaal 8:24 – interpretation of the
    meaning]

no one will be saved on the Day of Resurrection “except him who brings to
Allaah a clean heart [free from shirk and hypocrisy].” [al-Shu’ara’ 26:89 –
    interpretation of the meaning]

“those whose hearts are hardened” [al-Hajj 22:53 – interpretation of the
    meaning] are doomed

and the promise of Paradise is for those “who feared the Most Beneficent
(Allaah) in the Unseen, (i.e., in the worldly life, before seeing and meeting Him),
and brought a heart turned in repentance (to Him).” [Qaaf 50:33 –
    interpretation of the meaning].

So the believer must check his heart, find out the nature and cause of the problem, and start
treating it straight away, before it overwhelms him and destroys him. The matter is of the
utmost seriousness, for Allaah has warned us against the heart that is hardened, closed, sick,
    blind and sealed.

There follows a discussion of the symptoms of weak faith, what causes it and how it may be
treated. I ask Allaah to benefit me and my Muslim brothers through this work, and to richly
reward all those who have played a part in producing this book, for He is the One Whom we
ask to soften our hearts and guide us. He is our Protector, He is sufficient for us and He is
    the Best Disposer of affairs.

The Prophetic Commentary Of The Qur'an

    Sheikh Salman b. Fahd al-Oadah | Language: English | Format: PDF | Pages: 25 | Size: 1 MB
It is one of Allah’s blessings upon humanity that He has preserved among them His revealed words without allowing any corruption to alter them. This may indeed be Allah’s greatest blessing upon humanity as a whole, since His Book provides them with a way to properly govern their lives and resolve their disputes. The Qur’ân came to humanity after all the previous revealed scriptures had either been lost or, like the Torah and the Gospel, corrupted. Allah speaks about how people had corrupted the scriptures, saying: “Woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say: ‘This is from Allah’ to gain from it a paltry price. So woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they gain from it.” [Sûrah al-Baqarah: 79]

If the Qur’ân is Allah’s greatest blessing upon humanity, it follows that knowledge of the
commentary and interpretation of the Qur’ân is the greatest of all knowledge, since it is
the knowledge that gives humanity a correct understanding of what Allah is saying to
them. This is why scholars throughout history have given this field of study so much
attention and have written so extensively about it.
The commentary of the Qur’ân began at the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon
him). Indeed, the Prophet (peace be upon him) is the primary source for explaining
Allah’s Book. He explained the meanings of the Qur’ân’s verses by his words and by his
    deeds.
In this short treatise, we shall investigate this prophetic commentary of the Qur’ân. This
investigation will be organized into the following chapters:
    • Chapter One: Special qualities of the Qur’ân
    • Chapter Two: Muslim efforts in interpreting the Qur’ân
    • Chapter Three: How the Prophet conveyed the Qur’ân
    • Chapter Four: The commentary of the Companions
    • Chapter Five: How the Sunnah explains the Qur’ân
