help in gui and tiff images

salam
plz help me i have to hand out my project in 10 days

i created a user interface with matlab
the user input 2 things

exam name
exam number

???How can i
i want to save these inputs and call them in another function
HOW???

NOTE
if the user input another exam number , exam name it will not ereas the first inputs
i want to store them all??????????

How can i read imager .tif without knowing the name of the image??????
