    Question شبكة كمبيوتر صعبة كتير

    السلام عليكم عندي مشكلة وارجو منكم المساعدة
    عندي 2 جهاز كومبيوتر والمسافة بينهم 800 متر وبينهم كابل نحاس 2 فرع (مثل كابل التليفون) هل استطيع ان اجعهلم في شبكة واحدة عن طريق هذا الكابل واي انواع من المودم يتم استخدامها

    أعتقد أن حل مشكلتك سوف يتم عن طريق ربط الموقعين بواسطة Fiber optic Cable غير أن مشكلة هذا النوع تكمن في غلاء سعره

    Extending Your Current Network.

    Below is instructions on how to extend your current computer network to other buildings on your site. This can be done in three ways:

    Place pvc conduit underground and run ethernet cable to each building.
    Run the ethernet signal through telephone line.
    Use a wireless access communication devices.

    I have described some of the equipment we have used in the past and set up at other reserves. Also I have included my experiences while connecting these devises.

    Equipment.

    Router ( LinkSys or D-link routers recommended)

    Hubs or Switches for each location. (# of ports depends on the location and # of computers)

    Crossover Cables (one for each Rad Direct Unit) May also need one for your router.

    Ethernet Patch Cables. (enough to get to each computer and connect devises together.
    Buy a variety of lengths
    (short cables to connect network devices, long cables to connect computers)
    Measure distances from computers to where the main network will be located.

    Optional Equipment

    External Antenna

    Cable (LMR 400 or RG213)

    Phone Lines

    You only need a single pair (2 wires) of phone wires and the rad-direct units must not be more than 1 kilometer apart. If this is a problem there is another Rad-Direct unit (the ASM-60) that has twice the range (2 Kilometers) but requires 2 pairs (4 wires) of copper phone line to communicate.

    You will need to get a telephone technician out to your area. They will have the equipment to trace a phone line (Put a tone on it and find where the other end is)

    Preferably you want an unused "Dry" phone line that has no dial tone on it. Most phone lines going to buildings have 5 to 6 pairs of wire and only a few will be in use by your telephones. So try to use a wire pair that is not being used.

    If there is no available "dry" phone line you can still use the Rad-Direct units over a voice line being used by your telephone. The reason that this works is that it uses different frequencies to communicate. You can talk on the phone and use the network connection at the same time (connection speed might be affected by this but not at a noticeable level). If the Phone line (i.e. Phone Number) being used at the remote location is not at the source location then ask your telephone technician to add a phone wall mount with the remote phone's number. You might want to install a separate phone jack box anyway and designate the box as your network connection only so people don't accidentally unplug your network.

    Warning: too many devices (phones/answering machines, etc) can cause too much stress on the line and not provide the correct voltage to the units. You will hear lots on noise on the phone line. Therefore if you have to use an existing phone line that is being used then choose one with not a lot of phones attached to it and is not used a lot.

    You need to buy these in pairs. They differ in name: CO unit and CPE unit. The CO unit is installed at the SOURCE location. The CPE unit is placed at the location where you are adding network service too (the Remote location).

    The Phone line you installed above attaches to the LINE port of the unit. You can use regular phone cord if you want. Don't worry about the fact the line port on the back of the units is wide enough to accept the wider Ethernet (RJ-45) end. You can still just snap in the standard phone plug (RJ-11) into the Line port on the back of the unit.

    You will know when the two units are talking to each other when you see the SYNK light turn green. If the light is red then there is a problem with the telephone line or the network at the source location.

    The 10/100BASE-T port is for your Ethernet cable. This cable will plug into your Ethernet network device (hub, switch, or router). If you are at the Source location where you installed the Router then the CO unit's 10/100BASE-T port will need to be connected into the Router. If you are using a standard HUB you will need a CROSSOVER cable. This is different from your standard Ethernet PATCH cable in that the wires are crossed on the ends. I recommend you buy 2 or 3 short Crossover cables just in case. Don't want to be stuck without them when setting up your network. It is a good idea to Label them as CROSSOVER cables so they are not confused for regular Ethernet patch cables. If you decide to buy a switch instead it will probably detect the device and it will not matter which cable you use. We know this is the case with the D-Link switches. So my recommendation is to use a switch for your network connection to the computers instead of a hub. Also hubs do not provide the management and speed that a switch does.


    Switch or Hubs

    Switches recommended. Depending on how many computers will be connected to your network you need a switch with enough ports to accommodate them. You can connect multiple switches together to increase your network size as needed. The D-Link switches come is various sizes ( 5, 8, 16 ports) The D-Link Switch is a Dual-Speed 10/100Mb Ethernet/Fast Ethernet NWay auto-negotiating Switch. It is designed to eliminate unnecessary traffic, and relieve congestion by delivering dedicated bandwidth for all ports. They are smart enough to tell if the connecting device needs to a crossover cable. Therefore you can use the regular Ethernet patch cables with these switches and never worry about whether a crossover cable was needed.

    Wireless Networking.

    D-Link Air Plus TM series of high-speed networking products capable of data transfer rates up to 22 Mbps. It also includes an embedded DHCP server that once enabled will automatically assign IP addresses to wireless clients. Fully 802.11b Compatible

    DWL-2000AP

    Because this Access Point is also a DHCP server there is no need to assign IP to your users. The DHCP server will assign each person a virtual IP so they can connect to the internet.

    If you plan to extend the range of your network with an external antenna then it is much more prudent to buy two DWL-2000AP one of which you can use to hook up your external antenna and the other to serve the building where the antenna is mounted on.. The reason this is sometimes a big deal is that omni-directional antenna do not give good signal coverage if you are right underneath the location where the antenna's mounted. They radiate out in a donut shaped pattern.

    If you want to extend the wireless network outside the immediate building you will need an antenna. Below is an example of one we have used in the past. Do not use an antenna that is rated below 10bBi unless you are only trying to cover a very small area. You will also need Cable (LMR 400 or RG213) with minimal signal loss and pigtail connectors to connect the antenna to your Access Point.

    Advanced Wireless

    Although I have no direct experience with this product I believe it to be a good solution for those wishing greater range from their wireless network.

    A more advance Set up providing greater range is the AirBridge system. Because the bridge can be placed close to the antenna there is very little loss of signal strength. This is an advantage when trying to cover large areas.

    Router

    The Router will provide DHCP IP address assignment to all the computers on the network. This allows you to have large numbers of computers connected to the network by sharing one static IP address. Some routers even have built in firewalls to protect the network from the outside world. You should choose one that has a Web interface into the administrative settings. It makes managing the router much easier. D-Link provided a variety of routers.

    The Router will need to be assigned it's own static IP address. Your Internet provider can tell you what these numbers are. Information that you need:

    IP Address for Router, Subnet Mask, Gateway IP , Primary DNS, Secondary DNS

    You will also need to assign a password for administrative access to your router. Follow the installation instructions for the router you wish to use. The initial instalation in many of these units now is web based so look at the default IP of the unit and set your computer's IP to an IP in the same subnet range (not the same as the router). This will allow your computer to directly talk to the router via your web browser by typing in the router's default IP. When you have reset the router you can change your computer back to it's original TCP/IP settings. All this should be described in your router's directions.

    If you do not want a wireless option you can get a D-link DI-804HV Router. But if you think the location of the router would be in the same area as people using wireless access then it is a better option to buy the DI-624. If you wish to have more reliable wireless coverage, then it is much more prudent to buy the DI-774, because it has an extra Antenna. The extra antenna will not give you better range; just a more reliable signal.

    If you plan to use DHCP for your LAN you will need to tell your router to start the DHCP server and you must specify how many addresses it should contain (be generous – anticipate the maximum number of computers that might be turned on at one time). If you plan to put a server on your network be aware that the server can not have a DHCP address assignment. It must have a static IP which means that the IP assigned to this machine must NEVER change. Your ISP can tell you if you have a static IP address that you can use. (Sometimes you have to pay more money to have a static IP). The reason for this is that computers outside your network need to know exactly where your server is located (IP address). You might have to change your network around to accommodate having machines with static IPs. This may require more hardware and cables. You may need to put a small switch between your ISP source and the router and route stastic IP machines through that switch instead of the DHCP router. If you can centralize the devices that are going to have static IPs it would be in your best interests and help with your network wiring.

    800 مسافه صعبه قوى بالنسبه ل جهازين
    لأن التكلفه للتوصيل بينهم مكلفه جدا لدرجه انه من الاوفر لك ان تشرك لكل منكم على حده adsl
    تكون الكلفه ارخص احسن
    لأن التكلفه بكابلات تتعدى 1500 جنيه مصرى
    ناهيك هن الاعطال فى الطريق
    اما الاشتراكات الفرديه فتكلفتها كالتالى
    مودم 250 جنيه واشتراك 95 جنيه لكل منكم يعنى 345 * 2 = 690 جنيه خدمه ممتازه بدون اعطال
